Size an engagement
What does the engagement for this client look like, in days, quote and margin?
An engagement staffed phase by phase from the client's maturity and target, priced at your rates, with the margin at internal costs.

- You leave with: An engagement staffed phase by phase, a quote and a margin
The engagement
Built on the same constants as the public cost calculator: a client who used the tool should recognise the same programme in your proposal.
Your day rates
The quote
The figures above are computed and free. If you also want them read back to you — what they mean, what is specific to your sector, where to start — that is produced on request.
Phase by phase
Integration engineering is not quoted here: those are the client's or a technical partner's days, and the proposal should say so.
| Line | Estimate |

| Set-up | |
Framing and diagnosis 2.0 j partner · 5.0 j senior · 4.0 j consultant | €18,100 |

The assumptions
Every figure above rests on these. The ones marked “assumption” have no external source: they are modelling choices, labelled so they can be argued with rather than mistaken for measurements.
- Engagement type cadrageObserved
- Phases included: Framing and diagnosis, Governance and security, Steering and hand-over.
- Effort per step 1.5 levels × 5 axesObserved
- Same constants as the public cost calculator: a client who used the tool should recognise the same programme in the proposal.
- Engineering not quoted hereObserved
- Technical integration days are the client's or a technical partner's. The proposal should say so rather than let it be guessed.
- Internal costs see basis.ts § 15Observed
- Loaded daily cost per profile, for the margin line. Adjust to the firm's reality.
What the calculation does, what the AI does
Every figure on this page comes from a deterministic algorithm running in your browser: the same input always gives the same result, and nothing is sent to produce it. AI runs only afterwards, to write the commentary from those figures. It produces none of them — the format it fills has no numeric fields — and any sentence quoting a value the calculation did not produce is removed before display.
